Skidmore Softball Camps
Fall Prospect Camp
Join Skidmore Softball to showcase your skills, pick up some new drills, and see how we run a practice. Pitchers will work on fundamentals with our pitching coach and then throw live. Catchers will catch pitchers as well as work on fundamentals. Hitting will consist of a variety of drills focusing on fundamentals, timing, and other offensive skills. Throwing and fielding will work on throwing mechanics and then breaking down into infield and outfield specific drills. We will wrap up the day with a modified scrimmage on the field. This clinic is on our home turf field, molded cleats/turf shoes are preferred but metal is permissible. Bring your glove, catchers gear, bat, and helmet, water bottle, and whatever else you need to play softball.

9:45am - Check-In
10:00am - Warm-up, throwing progression, glove work
10:30am - Defensive drills; Pitching and catching.
11:15am - Offensive drills
12:00pm - Modified Scrimmage
1:45pm - Q&A/wrap up
2:00pm - optional campus tour with current team
